
Pune, January 30: The 14th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament) will be held from February 8 to 10, 2025, at the Vivekananda Auditorium, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Kothrud, Pune. The event is jointly organized by MIT World Peace University and MIT School of Government, as announced by MIT-WPU Vice-Chancellor Dr. R.M. Chitnis during a press conference.
Present at the press conference were Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Milind Pandey, Prof. Dr. Parimal Maya Sudhakar, Hitesh Joshi, Student Council President Prithviraj Shinde, and Vice Presidents Ms. Apoorva Bhegde and Nitish Tiwari.
Inauguration and Special Honors
The inauguration ceremony of the 14th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Union Minister for Labour, Employment, Youth Affairs, and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and BOAT CMO & Co-founder Aman Gupta will be the chief guests at the event.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana will be honored with the Ideal Assembly Speaker Award.
Valedictory Ceremony
The closing ceremony on February 10, 2025, at 11:45 AM will be graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, State Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare Dattatray Bharne, Maharashtra Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde, and Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar.

In addition to the inaugural and valedictory sessions, the event will feature four thematic sessions:
