
Pune: Mayra Mutagi, a fifth-grade student of Dhruv Global School, secured the first position in the solo dance category at the 16th All India National Cultural Dance Competition organized by Anas India.
On this remarkable achievement, Dhruv Global School’s Director Yashvardhan Malpani and Principal Sangeeta Raut extended their best wishes for her future endeavors.
Mayra captivated the audience with the melodious sound of her ghungroos and a charming smile on her face. Her ghungroos and radiant smile moved in perfect harmony, creating a mesmerizing rhythm through her dance. Every aspect of her performance — from rhythm, tempo, and expressions to hand gestures — reflected a flawless synchronization. Her outstanding presentation, coupled with an extraordinary blend of technique and expression, earned her the top spot in the competition.
Mayra Mutagi participated in the junior solo category of Indian classical Odissi dance and secured the first position. Additionally, she was honored as the Best Performer of the competition. She trained under the guidance of her mentor, Shubhashree Rautaray.
