
Pune: DIPEX 2025, a grand exhibition showcasing new research, projects, and technological innovations by students, will be held from April 3 to 6 at COEP Ground in Pune. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, is expected to visit the event, while Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will inaugurate it. Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, former DRDO Chairman G. Satheesh Reddy, AICTE Chairman T.G. Sitharam, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Information Technology Minister Ashish Shelar, ABVP National Organization Minister Ashish Chauhan, and National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki will also be present.
DIPEX 2025 will feature nine panel discussions and seminars conducted by renowned entrepreneurs. The seminar speakers include Padma Shri awardee Milind Kamble, entrepreneur Sudhir Mutalik, former DRDO scientist Kashinath Devdhar, Professor Vijay Navale, and Ramanand Nanda.
Awards will be presented for the first and second positions in all eleven themes, along with some special prizes.
DIPEX 2025 Welcome Committee Chairman Prakash Dhoka, Vice-Chancellor Sunil Bhirud, Welcome Committee Secretary Prasenjit Fadnavis, Ravindra Shingnekar, Welcome Committee Working President Pramod Kulkarni, Dr. Prashant Sathe, and ABVP’s Atharva Kulkarni were present at the event announcement.
Speaking on the occasion, Welcome Committee Chairman Prakash Dhoka stated that DIPEX, which plays a crucial role in shaping India’s technology sector, is being held in Pune this year. In the era of science, technology, and artificial intelligence, DIPEX provides students with a significant platform.
Welcome Committee Secretary Prasenjit Fadnavis mentioned that DIPEX can be described as a grand congregation of selected projects from Maharashtra and Goa. Twelve years ago, this event was held in the presence of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at the same venue. This year’s DIPEX will focus on socially relevant themes, exploring science, technology, policy perspectives, and sustainable development.
The 34th DIPEX this year saw participation from 2,003 projects from Maharashtra and Goa. From the preliminary round conducted in eleven divisions, the best 400 projects were selected for a grand exhibition at Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya Nagar, COEP College Ground, Pune.
