
Pune, April 11 2025: Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), South Western Air Command (SWAC), arrived at Air Force Station Lohegaon in Pune today for an official visit. He was received by Air Commodore Satbir Singh Rai, VM, the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) of the station.
During the visit, the Air Marshal was briefed on the key activities, strategic capabilities, and operational preparedness of the base. He reviewed ongoing initiatives and preparedness measures aimed at strengthening the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) combat readiness in the western sector.
Interacting with the personnel of the station, Air Marshal Tiwari commended their professionalism, dedication, and vital role in safeguarding the nation’s western airspace. He also underscored the emerging challenges facing the IAF and emphasized the need for continuous innovation and operational excellence to meet future demands.
The visit reaffirmed the IAF’s commitment to maintaining a high state of readiness and operational capability in the region.
