
Pune – The district-level Veer Gogadev Maharaj Trophy Cricket Tournament, held over five days at the Yerwada Mental Hospital ground, concluded with the Dhiren Bhai Shah team emerging victorious. They won a cash prize of ₹51,000. A total of 18 teams participated in this full-pitch tennis ball cricket tournament. The final match took place between the Dhiren Bhai Shah team and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maratha team. The final score was 88 runs, and the Dhiren Bhai Shah team defeated the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maratha team by 8 runs.
The prize distribution was held in the presence of entrepreneur and social worker Pradeep Rawate. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maratha team received ₹31,000, the Alok Eleven team received ₹21,000, and the Rahim Eleven team received ₹11,000 in cash prizes. Rahul Rajput was declared the Man of the Match. The tournament was organized by Adv. Mayur Chavan. Dinesh Vijay Sarwan, Yash Chavan, Adv. Anand Chavan, Dushyant Gopal Chavan, and Dheeraj Sarwan were present at the occasion.
