Rio de janero : External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of G20 Summit.External Affairs Minister says, It is very good to meet on the sidelines of G20. We also saw each other recently on the sidelines of BRICS. Our contribution in both platforms was remarkable in shaping the outcomes but it was a reminder of its importance to us. Our two countries in international politics was also equally important evidence of why our bilateral relations are more important, In Kazan, our leaders reached a consensus on taking the next step in our relations keeping in mind the understanding of 21 October. Note that the implementation of that understanding on the ground has proceeded as planned. Our leaders have directed the Foreign Ministers and Special Representatives to meet soon, today there has been some progress in that direction. Look forward to discussing the next steps with you.
