Pune: The ‘Panchakarma Ayurveda’ treatment method has existed since ancient times, and even in this age of science and technology, its significance has not diminished. Therefore, Ayurvedic treatments are still beneficial for joint, spine, and muscle disorders, said Chandrakantdada Patil today.
With the resolve of “Pain-free life is the future of Kothrud,” Chandrakantdada Patil, in collaboration with the Vaidya Purushottam Shastri Nanal Hospital, organized a free Ayurvedic consultation camp for joint, spine, and muscle problems on September 29 for the citizens of the constituency. The camp was inaugurated by Chandrakantdada Patil.
Present at the occasion were Dr. D. P. Puranik, President of the National Education Board, Dr. Vijay Doifode, Chairman of Vaidya P. S. Nanal Hospital, Dr. Pramod Diwan, Deputy Superintendent of the Hospital, and Advocate Shrikant Patil. In the camp, doctors Vaidya Girish Sarde, Vaidya Monika Mule, Vaidya Jayshree Gadgil, and Vaidya Shivani Satam conducted patient examinations. A total of 130 patients benefitted from the camp.
Chandrakantdada Patil emphasized that Ayurveda is also a science, and the Panchakarma treatment method has existed since ancient times. Its importance has not lessened even in today’s era of science and technology. Thus, Ayurvedic treatments have proven beneficial for many ailments, he expressed.
The health camp received an enthusiastic response from the people of Kothrud, with many citizens undergoing health checkups.
