PUNE: Military Institute of Technology, Girinagar, Pune, the premier Tri-services Technical Training Institution under HQ Integrated Defence Staff, witnessed a change at its helm. Maj Gen Hari Singh, VSM handed over the baton to Air Vice Mshl V Rajasekhar on 31 Dec 21.
AVM Rajasekhar was commissioned in AE(L) branch and is an alumnus of IIT Bombay. In his career spanning over 34 Yrs, he has tenanted various key appointments at Air HQ & Training Command of AF. He has been Head of Faculty at AF Technical College and also steered various communication projects. He was associated with the maintenance of Mirage-2000 avionics & systems and has also commanded AFCEL Mobile Switching Center at Jaipur. He has been commended by Chief of Air Staff in 2002.
The Air Officer has published papers in International Journals in areas of Artificial Intelligence & Neural Networks and is a regular speaker at various IT & Telecom conferences.
