  Pune: People who deposit money in co-operative bank, what are the qualifications of the director of that bank in the society, how is the management of that bank? Money is kept on it. Whereas the government has an upper hand over the national or private banks and therefore keeps the money, therefore if the directors of the co-operative societies act as trustees rather than as owners, then those institutions survive and in fact run well. No co-operative bank goes bankrupt if the directors work with absolute spirit Pune District No. Banks anyway. Ltd. President Subhash Mohite expressed. 

Jijamata Mahila Sahakari Bank Ltd. Pune’sJijamata Mahila Sahakari Bank Ltd. Pune’s Golden Jubilee Year Celebration was organized today on the occasion of Rajmata Jijau’s death anniversary at Demokratar Annabhau Sathe Auditorium, Padmavati. At this time, Mohite was speaking from the chair of the program.  On this occasion Balwant Patil Director, Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-op. Management, Arvind Naik, General Manager (Retd.), RBI, Vidyadhar Anaskar Banking Expert & Administrator Maharashtra State Co. Bank, President Ratnamala Mhaske, Jijamata Mahila Bank, Vice President Surekha Shitole, Umakant Mungi Chief Executive Officer, Neelam Pingle, Assistant Deputy Registrar along with all directors, officers and dignitaries of the bank were present.  On this occasion, the bank’s golden jubilee year souvenir was released by dignitaries. 


Speaking further, Mohite said, running civil cooperative banks is very difficult, the challenge of small finance, private banks has arisen in front of cooperative banks today. Co-operative banks today face a big challenge to connect the new generation with us along with preserving the old generation. Banks that have met this challenge have survived, while others that have not made the transition have exited. 

Vidyadhar Anaskar said, Maltitai and Madhavrao Shirole founded the bank with inspiration from the work of the 300th Jayanti Mahotsav Committee of Rajmata Jijau.  50 years is a long period, has the purpose for which the bank was established achieved? He appealed that the directors should think about it on this occasion, while doing it, they should consider both the good and the bad sides and avoid repeating the mistakes. 

On this occasion former Speaker Mangaldas Bandal, Smita Shirole, Adv. Dignitaries such as Shripad Khurjekar, Ashok Kakade expressed their gratitude and various dignitaries related to the bank and maintaining the loan relationship were felicitated on this occasion. The program was introduced by Ratnamala Mhaske, President of the Bank, Vote of thanks was given by Surekha Shitole, Vice President of the Bank.
