Toronto: A terrible accident happened in Toronto, Canada. Five Indian students were killed and two others were injured in the blast. It is learned that the accident took place when a van and a tractor trailer collided head-on.
According to Ajay Bisaria, India’s High Commissioner to Canada, the accident happened on March 13. Five Indian students were killed and two others were injured in the accident near Toronto.
The deceased have been identified as Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chauhan and Pawan Kumar. The dead students are in the age group of 21 to 24 years. All the dead students are said to be from Greater Toronto and Montreal area.
According to local media reports, “the accident happened on Highway-401 at 3.45 am on Sunday. Two other students have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.” Meanwhile, the police have started investigation into the accident.
