Pimpri Chinchwad – Tata Motors Kalasagar, the cultural wing of Tata Motors Company, is completing 50 years this year. On this occasion, Tata Motors Kalasagar will celebrate the Golden Jubilee and there will be a train of entertainment programs on August 17, 18 and 19.
Tata Motors Kalasagar Chairman Sunil Sawai gave this information in a press conference. Tata Motors Kalasagar General Secretary Rohit Saroj, Coordinator Mayuresh Kulkarni and Tata Motors Senior Manager (Communications) Amar Paithankar were also present.
All programs of Tata Motors Kalasagar’s golden festival will be presented in two sessions from 9:30 AM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM at Prof. Ramakrishna More Auditorium, Chinchwad. One can enjoy art exhibitions, various performances, one-act plays, group dance competitions, souvenir release, orchestra and other events. Top officials of Tata Motors Company will be present at the main event to be held on August 19 in the evening.
Tata Motors Kalasagar is a cultural arm of Tata Motors established in 1972. This organization was established on the initiative of late Leelatai Mulgaonkar. Kalasagar has endeavored to give a platform to the innate talents of the employees and their family members with four disciplines namely art, music, literature and drama. Kalasagar is an organization founded and run by employees, for employees. Over the past five decades, this has contributed greatly to the development of employee creativity.
Tata Motors has brought together the co-workers and their families of the company through Kalasagar. Tata Motors is the only corporate company to have been in the service of art and culture for so long.
