Vasai : There is Local group of Volunteers who are active on Tree Plantation across vasai virar, they plant trees on every Sunday and holiday, they didn’t get tired even doing job Monday to Saturday . very few people nowdays give Free time towards Good Cause.
Evershine Tree Lovers Group is group of Individuals under Evershine Citizen Welfare Forum who is Planting Trees, Giving Water, Doing Maintanance and taking care of it mainly on Sunday and Holidays. Apart from rainy season the group give water on Wednesday or Thursday as per volunteers convenience.
Few Years Back Mr Francis Denis Vas age 59 started tree plantation journey alone across evershine city Vasai East Palghar District. Slowly local Volunteers started join Evershine Tree Lovers Group and till date it became more than 100 people group. Till 31.03.2022 the group has planted more than 2000 Native Saplings. They get Tree Guard help from local body (Vasai Virar Mahanagar Palika).
There mission is to bring down temperature of earth, reduce pollution, increase green cover across the region. So Far Group has covered almost all area of Evershine City. Some other areas is Near Vinayak Hospital, Vasant Nagari Circle Road, Krishna Township Ground, 60 Ft Road. Mr Francis Denis Vas (age 59) on behalf of Evershine Tree Lovers Group has got Vasai First Gaurav Award 2022. Some of the NGOs/ Organisation helping them is Manav Seva Utthan Samiti, Green Umbrella Organisation, Wings Foundation and local volunteers contribute themselves. They Urge citizen to start plantation activities on their region and take care of it until it become self sustain.
