Pune:  International Institute of Management Science, (IIMS) of Yashaswi Education Society has received the prestigious ISO 210001: 2018 Education Management certification. IIMS is the first institute in Pune region to receive such a certification in management science. IIMS, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University regularly organises special lectures by senior HR managers from various industrial establishment so that the MBA and MCA students get update information and knowledge about the current industrial affairs besides academic curriculum. Also, industrial visits are organised to various renowned companies.

The Ph.D. research centre for Savitribai Phule Pune University is operational in IIMS. The research journal ‘Yashomanthan’ published by IIMS makes various study papers available for students, written by experts on management related subjects. Every year IIMS organises an international conference on a research subject where expert researchers from various countries participate and present their research papers. Dr Shivaji Mundhe, Director said that the institute continuously organises a number of novel activities for the holistic development of the students like interactions with industry leaders, shramadan camps, lectures and workshops, discussions with alumni. These initiatives are organised jointly with National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust, DeAsra Foundation. This quality certification has further enthused the teachers and other staff members of the institute and they will continue to work with the commitment to contribute to student-oriented initiatives and success of the students. Vishwesh Kulkarni, chairman of Yashaswi Education Society expressed that the contribution of all the Professors and staff was particularly important in getting the certification.
