Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was honored with The Saint of Modern India – ‘Suryadatta National Lifetime Achievement Award 2022’ given by Suryadatta Group of Institutes in Pune. The award was presented by Karnataka Governor Thavarchand Gehlot at the Kisan Samrudhi Mahotsav held at the Art of Living Ashram in Bangalore. On the occasion, Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muniji, Founder President of Suryadatta Group of Institutes Pvt. Dr. Sanjay Chordia, Vice President Sushma Chordia etc. were present.
Shri Ravi Shankarji said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had introduced three bills for the benefit of farmers. However, some people forced the withdrawal of these bills out of selfishness. We have to understand the facts. So, realizing that oil and gas are burning in it, we should all try to do light work. Make up your mind that I will contribute to the top position of India’s agricultural system. ”
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing a good job in the field of agriculture and water management. However, many experts predict that if there is a third world war, it will be over water. “Because our country is geographically diverse, the situation is different in every region. Scientists are also concerned about climate change and rising temperatures. Our country is dependent on groundwater. We have to work to increase groundwater resources. It is a matter of satisfaction that agriculture is prospering due to the river rejuvenation campaign. ”
Acharya Lokesh Muniji said, “It is gratifying to see Indian farmers working together. The work of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who rehabilitated forty-eight rivers and watered the farmers and the common man, is exemplary. He has worked for non-violence, goodwill. Ravi Shankar has worked for liberation of water, land, humanity, protection of environment, Naxalism, liberation of terrorism. ”
